Mode of training

practical and theory section ( which includes how to cut and sew, pattern drafting, how to measure, understanding the fashion industry, fashion business, the use of social media as a tool to promote your business. Etc )

I also intend to bring in other professionals in the fashion industry like Mai Atafo, Ouch, Vanskere to teach on what it takes to sustain a fashion brand and many more.

AT THE TRAINING

You’ll learn about the various elements that differentiate high quality garments from fast fashion items. The time put into constructing the garment as well as the quality of the fabric will determine the calibre and the cost of your garment

You’ll learn to become more confident as you continuously present your ideas during the training. Your fellow participant is just as unsure of their work as you, that’s the whole point of this, everyone there is a beginner and there to learn. It’s fine if you’re nervous. From minor mistakes and accomplished creations, you’ll realise that everyone else is just as unsure of their work and that it’s fine to be a little nervous sometimes.

You will learn to have good business sense. A successful fashion designer needs excellent business skills in order to stay within their budget and market their clothing.
