In furtherance of the gospel of salvation of our Lord Jesus Christ, SALT AND LIGHT FOR HUMANITY REVIVAL OUTREACH TEAM got into active grassroots engagement with TALITHA CUMI. One may pause to ask, what is TALITHA CUMI in relation to SALT AND LIGHT FOR HUMANITY REVIVAL OUTREACH?

AS it is written in the book of Mark Chapter 5 vs 41, Talitha Cumi is an Aramaic word which means ” Little girl arise ” By inference, Talitha cumi means… ARISE from the clutches of sin and powers of darkness AND LIVE AGAIN.

Talitha cumi in the context of this revival connotation was birthed in the course of OPERATION BEFRIEND A NEIGHBOR AND LEAD THEM TO CHRIST as initiated by our Papa Bishop David Oyedepo to seek, rescue, save and empower the lost souls out of the valley of captivity and death into mount Zion.

The TALITHA CUMI revival initiative led us to brothels where we found beautiful ladies of all shapes, colour and sizes languishing in abysmally obnoxious, disheartening and dehumanizing cesspit called prostitution. Talitha Cumi project brought SALT AND LIGHT FOR HUMANITY REVIVAL OUTREACH TEAM on direct face to face, one on one encounter with God’s wasting creative agenda, exquisitely beautiful women of LOW VIRTUE. Woman who for various hardly justifiable reasons find solace in the degrading and disheartening flesh market. These horde of women or sex hawkers are almost always morally bankrupt & perpetual drug addicts who have long lost their bearing and all hope in life and now totally resigned to fate, are all adrift in the holocaust of sexual immorality.

These derailed, dehrumanized and disillusioned group of women with badly twisted mindset and ideology of easy life, these dregs and scourge of the human society , addicted to drugs, alcohol and every conceivable vice becomes the priority target of our revival outreach. To seek, rescue, save, empower and re-integrate them back into the society through various Bible based motivational empowerment training schemes. This has becomes the overriding task and daily challenge of our revival outreach.

Onerous and challenging as the task is, we’re not afraid. SALT AND LIGHT FH REVIVAL OUTREACH TEAM remains focused and undaunted because we serve the God of endless possibilities. And because he lives, because Jesus is the way and the light, Turnaround success in the propagation of the gospel of our Lord Jesus becomes the identity of our revival outreach in Christ Jesus.

Project Talita Cumi no doubts is designed to rescue all the lost souls of humanity trapped and haunted by principalities and powers of darkness in high places and gradually usher them back into the everlasting kingdom of God .

Talitha Cumi is therefore a biblical replication through which all lost and traumatized souls are found, rescued and saved.

The lost souls having been rescued, are led to Christ Jesus.  They are thus nurtured and fed spiritually from believers’ foundation classes to Word of Faith Bible School (WOFBI) after which they undergo vocational trainings based on their individual areas of interests to become distinguished persons in the entrepreneurial world; thereby making them financially independent and subsequent endtime kingdom giants to the glory and adoration of our Lord Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.

How Do We Go About This?

• We seek, save, rescue and empower them for Christ;
• Tell them about their redemptive rights in Christ Jesus;
• Carry out needs assessment based on individual basis;
• Empower them by training them on different vocational skills, according to their passion;
• Empower them financially to become entrepreneurs.

 Who Are the Talithas?

They are new in the faith, and like every new born baby, they are desirous of being fed into maturity. They need care, love, attention and guidance. They need to be taught how to walk consistently in line with God’s word. They can only grow from strength to strength in the knowledge of the TRUTH (Psalm 84: 7)

They need to be constantly reminded that everything in the kingdom is a mystery, and one’s obedience entitles him to a reward according to Deuteronomy 28:1. They need to know why we tithe, give, partake of the communion, and believe that Christ power is in the holy anointing oil to break every yoke as well as, the mystery of the mantle. Team Salt and Light FH takes them through these processes cheerfully and diligently!
