BEGINNERS LEVEL: in fashion design and garment making technology to promote the trade of fashion and design through technical training which moulds students into fashion designers.

Through study of colour, fabric, sewing, technique and design, students learn the cornerstones of creating garments and offering them to clientele.
Garment making is an organized activity consisting of sequential processes such as laying, marking, cutting, stitching, checking, finishing, pressing and packaging.

This is a process of converting raw materials into finished products.
Students in this field are often creative individuals looking to establish their own brands or to work for reputable designers.

The art of designing clothes catering to a customer’s requirement is called tailoring. Apart from designing, a tailor has several other job responsibilities such as cutting, measuring and fitting. To master the art of tailoring, one has to understand the different aspects that are required for a professional tailor. Some of the more common topics covered in a tailoring course are equipment knowledge
